Product Description
50 um Thick Single Sided Tape. Made with high temperature PFA film with silicone adhesive.
Operation up to 260 C.
PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) is a premium, flexible fluoropolymer that combines the exceptional chemical resistance and non-stick properties of PTFE with the melt-processability of conventional plastics (modified PTFE Teflon). Highly prized in extreme environments, it can withstand continuous temperatures up to 260 C and offers high optical transparency. Resistant to most chemicals.
With PET release liner as protection/carrier.
For lamination of sensors and wearable electronics.
1. Non-stick PFA film provides a slippery and anti-friction surface.
2. Silicone adhesive provides clean removal with no residue.
3. Outstanding chemical resistance and inertness.
4. High temperature resistance to 260℃.
5. High Voltage Dielectric insulation properties.
6. Good wear resistance.
Applications
1. Providing excellent mold release in composite bonding
2. Wrapping and insulation connection of high temp. and high voltage cables
3. Wrapping web rollers to reduce friction
4. Covering web former edges to minimize friction during folding
5. Noise reduction of parts where surfaces rub together
Sell in paper size (four pack of 200 mm x 300 mm) with PET release liner, or small rolls of 50 mm wide x 10 m long (NO PET liner)
Even though Kapton Polyimide tape and Teflon PTFE tape are also high temperature, but they have poor optical transparency. PFA is unique to combine high temperature, optical transparency, chemical resistance, and low surface friction.
