This general purpose low-cost ultrasonic transducer has great performance with a 8-9 MHz nominal center frequency, and with low Q-factor of <1.5. Its electrical impedance (60-200 ohm) matches well to conventional NDT instrumentation (pulsar/receivers).
It can also be used a regular piezo sensor and energy harvester.
it is robust and can be attached well to any cylindrical, curved, or flat surfaces such as pipe or tank walls. You can use double side tape, general adhesives, epoxy, etc to bond them to any surfaces.
Cost is much lower than special piezo ceramic ultrasound transducers, while still provide great unit to unit reproducibility.
Made with 110 um thick PVDF film. With solderable pins. Total transducer thickness (with electrode and protective coating): 0.12 mm
