Most measurement of capacitance (dielectric constant) and dielectric loss (dissipation factor tand) was performed at AC voltage of 1-5 Vac using LCR meter or impedance analyzer.
In most electrical systems, the materials and components are used at high voltage AC > 10 kV.
This test can measure the capacitance and dissipation factor at high voltage of 10 kV ac or higher voltage. It uses standard high voltage vacuum capacitor as calibration.
While standard measurement is for power frequency 45-65 Hz, we can also set up instrument to measure such properties at other frequencies.
Test Voltage: up to 10,000 Vac
Temperature: ambient temperature, or any temperature from -150 C to 800 C.
