    Product Description

    ASTM D1816, Standard Test Method for Dielectric Breakdown Voltage of Insulating Liquids Using Disk Electrodes

    This test method covers the determination of the dielectric breakdown voltage of insulating oils of petroleum origin.
    This test method is applicable to liquid petroleum oils commonly used in cables, transformers, oil circuit breakers, and
    similar apparatus as an insulating and cooling medium

    Test Voltage: up to 80,000 Vac (60 Hz). 

    Temperature: ambient temperature, or any temperature from -150 C to 800 C (additional cost).
